The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it really is alarmed with regards to the high number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office focused on service here the area every day. The services issue developed for intervention experiences a significant influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more assets to permit the servicing of all buyers and boost entry to Social Assistance expert services,” read more the agency said.
